Welcome to the family, York CoderDojo

We’re having a socially distance party and some air high fives today at York Pi Jam HQ as we celebrate welcoming York CoderDojo to our family!

York CoderDojo had it’s last session back in December of 2018… and a lot has happened since then! But it wasn’t goodbye, more of an until we meet again, and we can’t wait to bring this back.

It’s still going to be monthly, it’s still going to be free, it’s still going to be a coding and making session and it’s still for young people in York!

Coronavirus has sadly led to us halting all of our face-to-face operations but as soon as it’s safe to do so we can’t wait to present Raspberry Pi and kit making sessions at York Pi Jam, and coding and making sessions at York CoderDojo… double the fun!

And if you weren’t cool enough to follow the @CoderDojoYork Twitter account back in the day, you can give it a follow here to keep in the loop of our return.

We hope to see you soon, and if you’re wanting to fill in the time before we resume operations, why not try out Code with us, an online initiative from York Pi Jam, where you can create a project with us every weekend during the school summer holidays.

Keep safe,

The York CoderDojo team
